Breath is Life!
As a Yoga Therapist, breathwork is the foundation to assess and restore health and wellbeing. I am also a certified Conscious Connected Breathworker and studied and practiced under the guidance of Nicola Price, Founder of Inspirational Breathing and the International Breathwork Foundation in England.
My breathwork sessions are a combination of ancient pranayama techniques, bodywork, energy work grounded in science, physiology and psychology. There is no one way or best way to breathe, it is different for everyone based on their own unique experience of life. Every session begins with a breath analysis and and I intuitively guide the session to modify the breath and allow for a free flowing natural breath, which is the foundation to a vital healthy life!

A breath circle is a space for you to tap into your innate wisdom by connecting with your breath.
I guide the circle intuitively through weaving breathwork, visualization, affirmations, somatic movement, and reiki energy for you to practice surrender and gain access to your unlimited supply of energy and vibrancy!

Breathwork restores your natural breath which is the most efficient, dynamic and effortless way to breathe and bring about a state of ease.
During sessions, we observe breathing patterns and use a powerful mix of tools and techniques, such as self-massage, toning sounds, movement, affirmations and visualization, to encourage a free-flowing breath using the whole of the respiratory system. With a full, conscious and conscious connected breath, we can release restricted patterns, let unwanted or buried feelings go and welcome new energy and therefore new behavior patterns too!
I provide a safe environment to release the layers of constriction, holding and restrictive patterns through the breath. It typically reveals the joy, laughter and bliss that are waiting to be revealed and discovered.
Science Behind Breathwork
Increasing oxygen levels in your bloodstream is key to increasing the energy available to your mind and body. Seventy percent (70%) of your energy comes from breathing. Breath sessions retrain your breathing mechanisms (muscles, lung tissue, habitual patterns) to take in more oxygen when stressed instead of the anxiety-ridden flight or flight reactions which reduces oxygen levels.
What to Expect
Inspirational breathing is deeper than a traditional yoga class and is important to be with a breath expert. You may experience emotional release, physical sensations, feel temperature differences, shake and move through different emotional states.

I am fully present when you work with me as you learn and retrain your body/mind complex to breathe optimally. I'll guide you through creating a breathwork practice just for you that may incorporate movement, voice, mantras, energy balancing, and more.
